Curran Theater

Elaborate scaffolding was necessary to dismantle the chandelier and remove its 16 arms.

All the parts were delivered to our shop by an experienced moving company.

32 candle light pods were removed from the arms.

The light pods were cleaned, repaired, and rewired before being reattached to the arms.

Glow lights were added to accent the chandelier more brightly.

Everything had to be meticulously tagged and documented so the chandelier could be reassembled correctly.

The paint was stripped from all 224 brass candles and repainted.

After the main stem received a new 6-circuit wiring harness, reassembly began.

All 16 arms mounted and rewired back onto the main stem.

Approximately 1,300 pounds of clean Austrian Crystal was reattached.

Final adjustments and touch-ups were done.

Lighting circuits were tested, including the new glow lights.

New glass panels went into the 3 recessed ceiling fixtures. Now with double the light output, their glow is even more prominent.
