Phoenix Day is proud to be among the leading manufacturers of high-end, handcrafted lighting and metal work made entirely in the UnitedStates. In addition to being one of the oldest running businesses in the Bay Area since 1850, we have remained family-owned and operated by descendants of our original founders.
Working today with mostly brass, bronze, steel, and hand-blown and cast glass, Phoenix Day offers a comprehensive line of quality pendants, floor lamps, and wall fixtures that are at once unique and timeless.
As all work is handmade in our local workshop, Phoenix Day is also able to offer custom light fixtures and metal work that express the creative vision of our design clients.
Along with our standard lighting line and custom work, Phoenix Day also continues to offer expert historical restoration. Working on projects for celebrated establishments such as The Transamerica Building and Redwood Park, The Curran Theater, The San Francisco War Memorial, and our current project, The Castro Theater.
Phoenix Day is more focused than ever on staying ahead of changing technical lighting innovations and combining their historic traditions with a modern aesthetic.
